Chad Harris (now Chad Harris Crane) came to Harmony in search of his birth parents, and instead found love with Whitney Russell.
At first, Chad caught the eye of Whitney's younger sister Simone, who started to believe that they were a couple. When Whitney and Chad went public with their relationship, Simone furiously vowed never to speak to either of them again. Chad and Whitney then moved to Los Angeles, causing a large rift between Whitney and the rest of her family.
After it was revealed that Chad was unknowingly still married to his “ex”-wife, Latoya, Whitney ended their relationship. After returning to Harmony and rekindling his relationship with Whitney, Chad was devastated to learn that he was Eve and Julian's long-lost son, making Whitney his half-sister. He is now working at Crane Industries.
